In a dry head massage, a person uses their fingers and palms to apply gentle pressure and movements on the scalp. Techniques include: Circular rubbing with fingertips Light tapping (stimulating the scalp) Gentle kneading and pressing Soft pulling of hair sections It is usually done while sitting and can last from 5 to 15 minutes.

Massage the scalp in circular motions using fingertips Cover the entire scalp evenly
Gentle Hair Pulling
Lightly pull small hair sections carefully Helps release tension and relax scalp muscles
Final Relaxing Strokes
Finish with slow strokes on scalp, temples, and neck Allow the client to relax for a few moments
